How to Decorate a Room on a Budget Under Rs 1,999

Decorating a room does not require replacing furniture. Most rooms that feel unfinished are not short of furniture at all — they are short of anything on the walls. That is the cheapest gap to close, and it makes the biggest visible difference.

Spend on the wall people look at first

Every room has one wall the eye goes to on entering. In a living room it is usually the wall behind the sofa; in a bedroom it is above the bed. Put your entire budget into that one wall rather than spreading small pieces across four walls. One good piece beats four forgettable ones every time.
